    • Timothy W. Foster is from Junction, Texas. He received his B.B.A. in Finance from Angelo State University (San Angelo, Texas) and his J.D. from St. Mary's School of Law (San Antonio, Texas). Prior to attending law school, Tim spent ten years as a licensed financial advisor, most of which was with USAA, assisting clients with investments, risk management and retirement planning. Tim is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the State Bar of New Mexico.

    • Richard W. Foster, Jr. spent his early years in Pecos, Texas. He received his B.A. Degree with honors from Southwest Texas University and his J.D. Degree in 1977 from St. Mary’s School of Law, San Antonio. Mr. Foster was a founding member of the firm and retired in 2020.

    The majority of the firm’s resources are dedicated to title examination, and clients include independent and major oil companies alike. In addition to title examination, the firm advises its clients concerning oil and gas law and assists with issues that normally arise in the drilling and production of minerals. Landmen and paralegals are available for use in the courthouse as necessary for runsheets or other land work.

    The firm works closely with both in-house and independent landmen, from the receipt of the original runsheet to the completion of curative.
